Crab Files #1

The crab files are a series of files posted from time-to-time to update on the crabs.

Onyx

My first crab. He is probably the least friendly and doesn't like being held. If you do hold him long enough he will twist over and pinch! Onyx is very shy but enjoys trying to get away. He rarely will stay in his shell, but runs when someone moves. After bathing them today, Onyx has seemed a little lazy. He was digging two days ago. I also managed to catch him eat.



Coral
Sex: F

Our second crab. She is most friendly and least shy. She is also easy to hold. I managed to see her eating three times. After the bath today, she has retreated to the CoCoHut and hasn't done much. I just hope she isn't planning on molting. We sexed her today. Coral has the brightest coloring of all the crabs. Enjoys climbing.



Titan
Sex: F
Date: 7/1/06

Our third crab. She is largest, hence the name Titan. She was out looking around since we put her in the container for PetCo. She almost gave me a pinch. Titan made a mess of my cage trying to escape. But she is settling in well. I don't think she will dig or die. I seem to get very nice crabs from PetCo. I also sexed her.
